Jobs.co.uk - Fastest Registration/Application Process

View the Article: http://www.jobs.co.uk/article/jobscoukfastestregistrationapplicationprocess-30.htm

Jobs.co.uk has launched their hugely anticipated "Quick Apply" process which is primarily aimed at first-time visitors.

The site has incorporated its registration process with each candidate's first application - this is saving thousands of people from the painstaking duplication of effort which is common-place elsewhere on the internet.

Director Matt Ellis claimed that a new visitor to the site could search for relevant jobs, register AND apply for their first job WITHIN 60 SECONDS !!! "I appreciate it appears unrealistic to suggest it takes less than a minute to find a job, apply for it and also register as a candidate on the site but I have tested it myself a couple of times from scratch and met the target on both occasions. It probably helps that I am familiar with jobs.co.uk and job boards have been a part of my working life for many years. If we are talking about someone wanting to put our research to the test formally, I guess I would also want to add that you need to take Browser performance into consideration as much as the general internet experience of the user before trying to prove or dis-prove our claim."

Mr Ellis added "We would welcome any feedback to the new "Quick Apply" process, particularly from brand new visitors who get the benefit of the auto-registration with their first application. All our tests were done in a live environment with "test jobs" advertised to ensure we didn't waste our advertisers time. We hope to see traffic on our site double in the next month as a result of the improvements"

If you are fed up with the application and registration process on the career websites you are using, try Jobs.co.uk next time you search for jobs.... http://www.jobs.co.uk/

Jobs.co.uk proud to have sponsored the Recruiter Awards

View the Article: http://www.jobs.co.uk/article/jobscoukproudtohavesponsoredtherecruiterawards-13.htm

Jobs.co.uk were the sponsors of one of the most sought after awards at the recent Recruiter Awards held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel (Weds 14th April).

Director Matt Ellis proudly presented the award to deserved winners The Stopgap Group and commented afterwards on the quality of the businesses who made the finals. "I am extremely excited to have presented one of the evening's most important awards - "Best Recruitment Agency to Work For", he added "Whilst The Stopgap Group were deserved winners, it is clear that they had to fight off a long list of recruitment companies whom I know have great recognition in the market for being great places to work". Other finalists in this category included the highly commended CBSbutler and STR.

The evening was hosted by one of the UK's hottest comedian's Jason Manford who entertained the guests with a stream of amusing quips. He also very skilfully evaded the amorous advances of a number of award winners who made physical advances towards him while on stage collecting trophies and during the photographs. It was not clear whether he was used to this type of treatment and whilst he remained mostly cool and visibly flattered by some of the attention, he also once or twice appeared quite frightened and readying himself to take evasive action.

Both prior to the ceremony and subsequently, Jobs.co.uk have been promoting the support of their sponsorship by awarding 6 months unlimited free job postings on the job board to all nominees, with an increase to 12 months to the winners. Jobs.co.uk are working to contact the finalists individually and have placed advertisements in the Book of the Night and the upcoming edition of the magazine to ensure as many finalists as possible get the opportunity to take advantage of this fantastic offer.
